A cyclist's haven, Cornwall's fresh sea air and variety of cycle trails could make this a holiday to remember. There are off-road trails/paths up to 11 miles long, taking in the breathtaking views of Cornwall's historic and varied landscapes. We can provide you with maps and directions to suitable parking for your vehicle. You can also hire cycles, tandems, tricycles, trailers and tag-along's from Bissoe Tramways Cycle Hire and enjoy a day cycling along a way marked, recently upgraded trail, taking in the sights of the old mine workings, beautiful wooded valleys, hedgerows filled with wild honeysuckle, gorse, heather and primroses.
If you are out and about during the day you may fancy a leisurely cycle through the country lanes to one of the many fine Inns and Restaurants located in one of the villages.
Cycle the 'Cornish Way' - experience part or all of 'The Engine House Trail' forming part of Route 3 of the National Cycle Network or go further a field and explore the other parts of the Network in Cornwall.

There is a great selection of decent golfing ranges to suit all abilities within a reasonable driving distance from Carnwidden. Most average around 18 hole and are generally on parkland, with many having magnificent views of the local landscape or the ocean beyond. Tuition is generally available if requested. A smart dress code is required at most venues.
